CH. Ch. Newcastle's Wish Upon A Star
"Stella"

Owned and Loved by Dave and Diana
Heller
**************
Dear Stella,
Cooky and Bonnie met you early the
morning
of November 1, 2006 after you
and the other
11 little bullies were
delivered at the vet’s office.
You all
went to Cooky’s house for your first eight weeks
of nurturing and love. At Christmas, you went to your
forever home with Dave & Diana, and Jack & Luna. “Big”
sister Luna mothered you and Jack was your
loving big brother.
As your personality emerged, you
captured all of our hearts. Your singing talent was discovered when you joined
your Mom singing "Stay" by Sugarland. Your Dad referred to you as his
"Baby Clydesdale" due to your long legs and big feet! You
frequently leaped for joy like a Lipizzaner when you played in the yard,
especially in the snow. You became famous for your big slow, loving kisses and
best hugs. You were the taller sister of the group, but a lap dog at heart. You
were the only one who got along with Iris, the Boston Terrier next door, and she
didn't even like you. Your ladylike sitting position reflected your laid back,
slow moving style and contributed to what we affectionately called, "Stella Time". However, when you were in the ring, it was
"Show Time" and you totally turned it on!

On
Sunday, January 25, 2009, your extended family came to visit you because you
were recovering from ACL surgery.....such a happy day. You were the center of
attention. You exchanged kisses for butt scratches. The following Saturday, you
woke the house while having a seizure. After 2 ½ days at the neurological
hospital, Mom and Dad got the horrific news: you would not be coming home. Once
again, your family and friends gathered. This time, they had to say goodbye to
you, Sweet Stella. Forever our baby girl.
For two
short wonderful years, you were a joyful loving "little"
sister to Jack & Luna and the perfect
beautiful angel to your Mom & Dad. You will
forever live on in our memories and in our hearts.
We miss you, Baby Girl.

Loved by her two-legged family and friends: Dave & Diana Heller, Bonnie Alstat, Karen Scully, Rich
& Cooky Bercel, Chuck & Carol Hemeyer, Shawn & Lindsey Falco
Missed by her four legged family and
friends: Jack, Luna, Ivan, Faythe, Hope, Mason, Clair, and her best buddy Gabby!
***************
Stella
was diagnosed with a very large mass that was invading the skull and osteolysis
of the bone. She showed no symptoms until the morning she had the seizure.
Within two days she was gone. Her blood samples were sent for research/analysis
to the Broad Institute.
