My Bubby,

You came to me as my first "unbroken" Bullmastiff. I always considered you my karmic reward for all those less fortunate dogs we fostered. You helped me reach and teach so many of them as you befriended them. Through your kindness, you showed them what a balanced dog should be. You were the most perfect puppy -- learning most things the first time. You were my first show dog and became my first champion. You were my constant companion and always knew what I was thinking. You surpassed my expectations for versatility in this breed by excelling at anything you tried. You made me so proud. With you, every day was an adventure. You demonstrated bravery in the face of adversity. You inspired me to live in the present, and to live well.

Now that you have left, there is a huge hole in my life. I miss you more than I can express. I love you more than I thought possible. I know I will see you again someday.
