We went through quite a trial in early 2000 when I rescued Rudy in Michigan. He was truly "hell on wheels" the first couple of years.  Virginia, the ABA Rescue coordinator, told me then to hang in there, that it would be worth the wait, and she was so right. We have been enjoying each other immensely for years now.  Just want to say thank you to ABA Rescue, and that when the time comes (hopefully not for a long while), that I will be able to give another rescue bullmastiff a good home and spoil them just as much, to make up for all the heartache they've had to live with.  I've attached a picture of Rudy gently approaching my dogsitter's baby boy.  He is fantastic with children!
