Evee was an owner surrender to a Humane Society because her owner couldn’t stand her hair and dirt. Prior to that, she'd been used for breeding then given away when she stopped producing. At 6 yrs old, she'd been thrown away for the second time in her life. The H.S. was going to put her down because she wasn't responsive to human interaction.
We
teamed up with another rescue to help save her. They pulled her for
us and drove her several hours to meet up with our ABA Volunteers.
It took us 1 day, just 1 day to get her to open up to us and she was
by far the easiest foster we'd ever had. Evee was such a good
girl, and we just couldn't believe no one wanted her. Yes she
was older, but what does age matter when its such a Wonderful dog???
Evee was good with
anything and everything and when the Hills
came out to meet her, it was love at first sight!
Evee is now spoiled rotten, living in a home that doesn't care if she's a little gray around the muzzle and they've continued to work with her to bring her out of her shell completely!
