There is much to say about Katie and Rocky. Kate was an emaciated little waif who almost died after her spay at a TN animal shelter. Thanks to Katherine Glankler's persistence and diligence she survived and made her way to Ohio. She was a bundle of energy right from the beginning. And then came The Rock Star. So handsome and kind, every dog and every person is his friend. Rocky came to Ohio via a Chicago shelter, thank you Sherry Boldt for the ride! Rocky is very excited about life and this kept him in rescue a little longer than others, but in retrospect I think he was being saved for Maureen and Kate. It was a joyful day when I drove him to his new home in Tennessee. The first thing Kate did was attack him, the first thing Rocky did was roll over on his back, Maureen of course was in the middle of them earning a few scrapes and bruises. Maureen said "I'm a surgeon this is nothing!" Rocky said "Give her a pill or something and where do you keep the treats?" and Kate said " Well now that we've got the diva moment out of the way, let's go play!!" And all is Happily Ever After!
