Kiba, an elderly female, and Boo, a 6 month old puppy, were adopted by one of our volunteers in Pennsylvania.  Kiba (the red girl on the right) is seven years old and is lucky to be alive after being left for dead on a street  corner after a life being used as a breeding machine.  Boo was purchased at a pet shop and a few months later surrendered to a shelter after being labeled "too active".  Kiba loves Boo and is very mothering. He is growing fast, soon he will be taller than she is. He's definitely added a new spice to Kiba's life.  It's as if she jumped in the fountain of youth.
