Newman
Newman was originally adopted outside of rescue by a family in Alachua County. Unfortunatley, he turned up 5 years later at the Humane Society and Rescue saved him.  He now shares his home with a lovely young lady named Amanda in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.

Foster Mom:  Mickey Mullen
New forever Mom:  Amanda Gudaitis

His new Mom writes:
"I adopted Newman in late February 2009 and we became instant best friends! He loves car rides (even in my two door civic), I have neighbors who borrow him to play with him, he is always happy and I cannot tell you how many times I have heard both "I don't even like dogs, but I love this one!" and "I want a dog just like him".

Newman definitely loves to be around people! He is friendly to everyone he meets.  Things could not be better! I could not imagine my life without Newman now. He is a wonderful dog! He has started liking the beach, it took him a while to get used to the water. He was afraid of a lot of things when I first got him. He is still afraid of grass, which I get a kick out of
sometimes!  I definitely feel that I want to be a bullmastiff owner for life."
