Sam
When Sam came into rescue, he was skin and bones and his coat was patchy and sparse. His foster mom, Andrea, wasn't sure anyone was going to be able to see through Sam's neglected exterior to the beautiful dog within. But his new adopted family, Amy, Dan, and Hannah Jones, did. Now, just six weeks later, with lots of love and delicious food (including scrambled eggs for breakfast!) Andrea hardly recognizes Sam. Here's a note from his new family:
Danny and I both try to get him out for a ride as often as possible; he so enjoys it. For awhile, he was skittish about getting in and out of the Jeep, but we have found ways to settle his apprehension, and he's such a trooper about it all. I think at some point, I will purchase or fabricate a ramp to have him walk up into the back, but for now we just help him a little here and there.
